10th Annual Run With Deer 5K Run/Walk – Saturday, February 14, 2026

National Wildlife Refuge Week, observed the second full week of October each year, celebrates the great network of lands and waters that conserves and protects Americans’ precious wildlife heritage.

In 2025, National Wildlife Refuge Week occurs October 11-18.

Full Moon Kayak Excursions

New dates for Fall/Winter season 2025-2026 now available

This kayak excursion takes place in the waters surrounding the National Key Deer Refuge in Big Pine Key and surrounding areas. Beginning at the Old Wooden Bridge Marina, 1791 Bogie Road, Big Pine Key, kayaking across the water to No Name Key and north.

Plan to arrive about 30 minutes early at the Old Wooden Bridge Marina, 1791 Bogie Road, Big Pine Key. Bring flashlight and water. No experience necessary.
